Fox Eye Thread Lift – FTT Skin Clinics.

The fox eye thread lift treatment is so popular and known as “Fox Eye” since supermodel Bella Hadid posted on her Instagram, of her winged eye with upper corner of her eye tilted upwards, hence the name Fox Eye. Beauty is as always, in the eye of the beholder, with the ideal position of the brow is just above the orbital rim with the lateral part of the brow higher than the medial, as it slopes gently upwards, before slightly dropping at the tail of the brow.  As we grow older, our decreased skin elasticity and gravity will inevitably result in sagging brows, especially the lateral part resulting in flat, unattractive brows.

Eye Rejuvenation is a minimally invasive treatment using blunt cannula. The results are rejuvenating on suitable candidates and as well as raising the eyebrows it also opens the eye and stretches any sagging skin. The treatment works by inserting a dis-solvable thread under the skin. The inserted thread creates tension and anchors to the underlying tissue while stimulation the production of new collagen promoting firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Fox Eye Thread lift is a minimally invasive treatment compare to traditional Surgical treatments targeting raising the eyebrows. The results are phenomenal and as well as raising the eyebrows it also opens up the eye and stretches any sagging skin. The treatment works by inserting a dis-solvable thread under the skin. The inserted thread creates tension and anchors to the underlying tissue while stimulation the production of new collagen promoting firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Your skin around your eye and forehead is thin and fragile, so bruising is possible. Expect a little swelling and mild discomfort afterwards.  To reduce bruising, avoid alcohol, stop NSAID’S such as “Brufen”, as well as Omega 3, Fish Oil supplements,  and Vitamin E supplements at least 48 hours prior to your treatment day.

Your brow and eye area will be assessed at consultation and Nurse Frances will explain which thread she will use as it differs depending on your concerns and the area of the brow to be repositioned.  that is being raised. We use Silhouette Soft and PDO threads.

Yes, and this will be discussed at your consultation as combination of dermal fillers can give a better result depending on your need.  If you have volume loss in your temple region, dermal fillers may be advised too.  If you have strong depressor muscles in the area to be treated, Toxin injections may also be advised to reduce the downward pull of your eye area.

Your threads remain within your skin for about 6 months after which they dissolve slowly leaving new collagen behind to maintain your lift.  We find that if you combine your Eye Lift with anti-wrinkle injections this stops your muscles around your eye pulling downwards giving a much longer lasting result.

We take great pride in excellent pain management before, during and after your treatment.  We typically use local anaesthetic cream and local anaesthetic injections to ensure your comfort.
