FTT Skin Clinics – Jaw and Chin Fillers.

Jaw and Chin Fillers treatment is suitable for patients who have concerns/issues about their appearance and shape of their chin or jawline.

  • Jaw Fillers – Patients can have a sagging jawline which can be a sign of ageing. Others may genetically have an under formed or weak jawline which can greatly affect appearance and confidence. A strong defined jawline can be the most striking feature of a person’s facial appearance. A strong jawline is both youthful and attractive. Dermal Fillers can to used to stiffen the skin on a jawline and define the chin and jowl area, decreasing the weakness of an undesirable jawline. Dermal filler to the jaw can also give a face lift effect by improving overall definition. Jawline contouring is the perfect option for improving the definition of your side profile whilst also having a slimming effect.

  • Chin Fillers – Many patients feel they have a small chin in comparison to other features of their face. This treatment can  lengthen the chin to give an improved proportion compared to other facial features. It can also move the chin upwards or downwards to create the prefect ration between the nose, lips and chin.  Chin fillers can also be used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines making the chin more aesthetically pleasing.

FTT Skin Clinics offer a comprehensive range of dermal filler treatments.

Jaw and Chin filler treatments are available in our Glasgow, Hamilton and Inverness clinics.

Find out more…

At FTT Skin Clinics we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive consultation. This will include a full medical and  will include a full facial assessment taking into consideration any areas of concern and areas which would enhance your overall appearance.

You will be made to feel very comfortable and your nurse will explain the procedure fully prior to treatment. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Prior to treatment your skin will be cleansed. Where applicable local anaesthetic will be applied prior to injection. The treatment will not be painful although you may feel a bit of discomfort. Aftercare will be discussed and you should allow for some mild swelling following treatment.

Results are instant and you will notice some improvement after treatment with continuing results over a few weeks as the hyaluronic filler integrates with your skin tissue. Dermal fillers last on average 6-18 months dependent on the filler being used and the area treated. Your nurse will discuss this with you at your consultation.
