Profhilo treatments are super skin boosters that gives fantastic hydration and also triggers collagen and elastin production, resulting in bio-remodelling of the skin in most areas of your face and body.  Areas commonly treated are face, neck, décolleté, elbows, knees and hands.

Profhilo is the first BDDE-free stabilised Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity.  With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels your skin.  It delivers great results as a treatment on its own but also in combination with other treatments at FTT Skin Clinics.

Profhilo treatments are performed across two separate sessions, spaced one month apart. If required a further treatment can be performed two months after the second session. This double treatment cycle can then be repeated twice per year for optimum results. That is 4 per year or a single session every 3 months to maintain results.

What can I expect during my consultation?

At FTT Skin Clinics we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive consultation. This will include a full medical and a full facial assessment taking into consideration any areas of concern and areas which would enhance your overall appearance.

What can I expect during my Profhilo treatment?

You will be made to feel very comfortable and your nurse will explain the procedure fully prior to treatment. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Prior to treatment your skin will be cleansed. Where applicable local anaesthetic will be applied prior to injection. The treatment will not be painful although you may feel a bit of discomfort. Aftercare will be discussed and you should allow for some mild swelling following treatment.

When can I expect Results from my Profhilo treatment?

Results are instant and you will notice some improvement after treatment with continuing results over a few weeks as the hyaluronic filler integrates with your skin tissue. Dermal fillers last on average 6-18 months dependent on the filler being used and the area treated. Your nurse will discuss this with you at your consultation.
