Profhilo Injectable Moisturiser – FTT Skin Clinics.
Profhilo treatments are super skin boosters that gives fantastic hydration and also triggers collagen and elastin production, resulting in bio-remodelling of the skin in most areas of your face and body. Areas commonly treated are face, neck, décolleté, elbows, knees and hands.
Profhilo is the first BDDE-free stabilised Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity. With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels your skin. It delivers great results as a treatment on its own but also in combination with other treatments at FTT Skin Clinics.
Profhilo treatments are performed across two separate sessions, spaced one month apart. If required a further treatment can be performed two months after the second session. This double treatment cycle can then be repeated twice per year for optimum results. That is 4 per year or a single session every 3 months to maintain results.

What can I expect during my consultation?
At FTT Skin Clinics we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive consultation. This will include a full medical and a full facial assessment taking into consideration any areas of concern and areas which would enhance your overall appearance.
What can I expect during my Profhilo treatment?
You will be made to feel very comfortable and your nurse will explain the procedure fully prior to treatment. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Prior to treatment your skin will be cleansed. Where applicable local anaesthetic will be applied prior to injection. The treatment will not be painful although you may feel a bit of discomfort. Aftercare will be discussed and you should allow for some mild swelling following treatment.
When can I expect Results from my Profhilo treatment?
Results are instant and you will notice some improvement after treatment with continuing results over a few weeks as the hyaluronic filler integrates with your skin tissue. Dermal fillers last on average 6-18 months dependent on the filler being used and the area treated. Your nurse will discuss this with you at your consultation.

Plasma is generated through the treatment needle and as a result the molecular chain of the skin epidermis breaks off and instantaneously causes sublimation on the skin surface. What are the benefits of a microneedling treatment?
FTT Microneedling Treatment technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause a controlled physical trauma to your skin. This trauma prompts the dermis, a deeper layer of skin, to rebuild. Microneedling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin. Downtime?
In the hands of our expert clinical team at FTT Skin Clinics it is a safe and effective treatment however there can be side effects which are temporary. These can include some discomfort however we apply topical anaesthetic cream prior to treatment, redness which self resolves over a short time, some dryness 3 days after treatment may be noted.
This treatment is suitable for men, women, face and body however it is not suitable if you have you have active acne, herpes simplex, keloid scarring or active skin infection in area to be treated.
What should I do after Microneedling Treatment?
Using tepid water to cleanse the face for the first 48 hours following treatment and drying the area gently without rubbing. Ensuring that your hands are always clean when touching the area treated to avoid any infections. Avoid applying makeup products for the first 12 hours following treatment although we will advise you when, what and how to apply some mineral based make up products.

HIFU is “High Intensity Focused Ultrasound”. HIFU stimulates the deep layers which support the skin creating a lifted, firm appearance and stimulates the production of further collagen.
Patients probably 30+ whose skin on face or neck had become lax and wishes to lift and tighten.
Clients may see an immediate improvement but generally lifting and firming will occur over three months as collagen is replaced with new stronger collagen.
